Giving Thanks with #projectgratitude

Giving Thanks projectgratitude

This is a busy time of year, and we can forget about giving thanks for the things that are most important to us. That’s where #projectgratitude comes in!

Thanksgiving is about a lot of things, but I think that one thing we lose sight of in the hustle to get friends and family together, cook a meal, and keep up with regular obligations is the part about giving thanks. #Projectgratitude wants to help you change that this November!

With so much going on, it can be hard to forget about giving thanks on Thanksgiving day, can’t it? I don’t think that’s something to feel bad about. I think it’s just a matter of practice. My friend and colleague Andrea Devon Bertoli is launching #projectgratitude to help you do just that. Here’s the project description in her words:

We spend a lot of time preparing for that ONE day of gratitude in November, but I’d like to celebrate thanks and giving for the entire month. I’d like to invite you (and everyone you know!) to join in the project. I invite you to share images, photos, quotes or writing about what makes you feel happy, blessed, calm. Just hashtag #projectgratitude on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.

The super fun part? She’s going to be choosing her favorite examples of giving thanks and share them throughout November over at Vibrant Wellness Journal, and she might even have some fun prizes in the works!

I love the idea of giving thanks all November long instead of waiting for one set day to express gratitude, don’t you? Plus, by doing it all month you get into the habit of giving thanks, so on Thanksgiving day, it will be more part of your routine than a break from it!

Are you going to participate in #projectgratitude? What are some things that you’re going to be giving thanks for this month? Let’s share some gratitude in the comments!
