Looking for vegan deodorant that works? These are my favorites! Whether you want to make your own or buy, there are options here for you.
Vegan deodorant might sound like crazytalk, but a vegan lifestyle is about more than cutting animal products out of your diet. Whenever possible, vegans don’t use products that are tested on animals, and we don’t use products that contain animal ingredients.

The most common animal ingredient in non-vegan deodorant is beeswax. Luckily there are lots of options for beeswax-free deodorants. The trick isn’t just finding vegan deodorant, though. You want a natural, vegan deodorant that works, right? I’ve been through dozens of brands and DIY recipes, and these are my top three picks.
3 Vegan Deodorant Options
1. Make Your Own Vegan Deodorant
It is stupidly easy to make your own vegan deodorant. Check out my two-ingredient natural deodorant recipe! It’s easy to make, easy to apply, and shockingly effective.
2. Schmidt’s Deodorant
Disclosure: Schmidt’s sponsored my personal site for a month earlier this year, and they sent me their entire line of vegan deodorants to try for a review. That said, they are not paying me to tell you right now that I love their deodorant! It smells great, and it works really well. My favorite scent is probably the Bergamot and Lime.
3. Strawberry Hedgehog Deodorant
Tracy Perkins at Strawberry Hedgehog also sent me her vegan deodorant to try, and it works really well, too. She sent me the Femme Fatale to try, and it has a nice, musky smell. Very mild. If you don’t want to smell strongly of essential oils, this is the option for you.
