Product Review: One Month of Tangut Resvene Supplements

Tangut

In my last couple Feel Good Style reviews, I talked about Four Products to Keep your Skin Moisturized during the winter, and I reviewed Tangut Resvene Supplements, an anti-aging, moisturizing natural supplement I was taking each morning.

In my first Tangut piece, I wrote that I had been taking the supplements for a week. and said that, “While what acne I started with has not been directly improved by Resvenue (if that is what you’re looking to get out of it) I have noticed that my face is staying more moisturized, and thus less irritated.”

I wrote that I was going to take the supplements for a month, and then write again.

Here’s a quick re-fresher of my interview with Tangut:

FGS: What is in it, and why?

TANGUT: Resvene contains 98% purest natural trans resveratrol. This is the only form of natural resveratrol. The main ingredients and plants of Tangut Resvene are the Polygonum Cuspidatum root, Oligo Proanthocyanidin from Chilean Wine and Quercetin. The combination of these plants guarantees the maximal absorption.

FGS: Why is natural anti-aging and cell-revival important? You hear a lot about these two things – why them?

TANGUT: Skin is often times exposed to many damaging factors of which the biggest one is the sun light. Through sun burn or extensive sun exposure, our skin can age quicker or develop sun spots. Research has shown that the body heals from the inside out and often times greater effects are achieved through an intake rather than a lotion. “Natural” in that sense describes the source. We have the choice of many synthetic vitamins that the body cannot absorb as well. Also a lot of times we don’t know where the ingredients come from. Taking a supplement that has an all-natural source, this is the healthier choice for your body because it is comparable to food (a “wholefood” supplement) and you know that it contains botanic extracts rather than chemicals. “All-natural” or “botanic” extracts is the new trend as customers request more information about source and more transparency about ingredients.

I used the supplements for a month, and then went off them for a week to see how I fared without them. Over all, I noticed a few things:

1. Within three days of stopping the supplements, my face was far dryer than it had been before.

2. My face was smoother and kept moisture longer while using the supplements.

3. I had to use less oily products while taking the supplements because my face tended to become too oily if I wasn’t careful.

I am going back on the supplements after taking a week off, as I found them to be quite helpful and that my acne and the overall moisture of my face both benefitted. I would highly recommend taking these supplements once a day (I found that was preferable to twice in how my skin felt), if your skin is dry, itchy, damaged or lost its overall glow. Unlike many products I’ve used, I actually did see a difference in using Resvene.
