New Smock Stationery Printed on Bamboo

Beautiful new letterpress invitations by SmockSmock is a brand new stationery and invitation line designed by Amy Graham Stigler (founder of Snow & Graham) and sustainably letter-pressed on bamboo paper.

Smock is the first print shop in the U.S. to offer printing on a luxurious and sustainable bamboo paper, which is made just for them at a historic European paper mill.

The Smock line includes letterpress greeting cards, gift tags, party invites, social notes, holiday cards, and wedding invitations all printed on bamboo, and gift wrap that is made from 100% post consumer recycled paper.

I personally love the new invitations that are perfect for green weddings. It is so fabulous that brides are getting more eco-choices everyday. Soon green brides will be the norm with more and more green wedding choices popping up everyday.

I applaud Smock, they are serious about being a truly green company, and their commitment to the environment affects everything they do – they are powered by wind energy, they donate 1% of sales to environmental causes, and their retail packaging is tree-free, petroleum free and certified biodegradable.

Smock is a Co-op America Green Business You can read more about their environmental practices here.
