Fruit Scented Body Butter Sweet Enough To Eat (But Don’t)

Bubble & Bee Body Butta

Lately, in an attempt to conjure any notion of warmer days, I have tried several fruit scented body lotions and butters and all smell good enough to eat.  And with all of their fruity goodness ingredients you practically could, but it’s probably not recommended.

Let’s start off with the new Bubble & Bee Body Butta – that’s right, it has ‘tude.  The subtle Raspberry and Vanilla scent is warm and fruity, evocative of a chocolate raspberry torte.  And the luscious creamy texture (think buttercream frosting) goes on smooth and keeps skin soft all day.  Comes in 4 or 8 oz jars and is made with shea butter and lots of oils, like coconut, sweet almond and macadamia.

Another summer dream inducing body moisturizer is Brownearth Mango Butter, and yes, it smells as heavenly as it sounds.  This yummy, whipped up body cream is a combination of cocoa seed, shea and mango seed butters and also contains Vitamin E.  You can find Brown Earth products, including Mango Butter, at LoveLula.com out of London.   This popular product is often out of stock, but well worth the wait.

Skin’s Lemon Mousse Extra Dry Hand Cream is fluffy and light yet does the job on dry skin.  Jojoba, apricot kernel and coconut oils make Lemon Mouse super moisturizing for hands and body and the lemon essential oil keeps its scent fresh and clean.  The light texture keeps skin hydrated without being greasy.

Do a little aromatherapy and step into spring a bit early with any of these tempting body butters.
