4 Natural Tips for Smooth Summer Skin

Do you feel awkward about baring more skin once summer hits?  And sometimes it is not just the white, pasty color either.  Bumps and blemishes on arms, back and legs can make you want to run for cover.

Banish bumps with a few easy steps:

  1. Exfoliation is key to keeping skin healthy, smooth and glowing.  This goes for the bod too.  My favorite?  A combination of organic sugar and organic milk.  Slough gently in the shower and you will be silky smooth.
  2. If you prefer something less DIY, a terrific exfoliant to try is Holly Beth’s Grits & Honey Scrub.  Honey is naturally smoothing and the round edges of the grits make this one super gentle.
  3. Next, moisturize!  Sometimes we forgo body moisturizer once dry winter months are gone, but sun and surf can sap moisture just as quickly.  I love Skin Unscented Face & Body Lotion – comes in a great big jug and doesn’t interfere with your other scents.
  4. If you are looking for extra moisture plus scent a body oil is just the thing.  My favorites are Madara Firming Oil and Tata Harper Revitalizing Body Oil.
