Happy new year!
The holidays are officially OVER! It’s time to de-stress and decompress. Maria shared some great tips last year on ways to manage holiday stress, and I wanted to share my favorite method for dealing with the holiday blues (or maybe the mean reds?).
Really, that’s it! Set aside a few minutes each day to sit, be still, and just breathe. Find a comfortable seated or reclined position, and focus on taking slow, deep breaths. Start with just 10 breaths, if you’re new to this kind of thing, and gradually meditate for a bit longer as you get more comfortable.
