The Best Beauty Box I’ve Tried Yet

Yuzen beauty box

There are boxes, and there are boxes.

I was just discussing subscription beauty boxes with a friend who’s also in the organic beauty business. While it seems there is a new beaut box cropping up in the ecosphere every day, none have really rung my bell. I mean, if I’m going to pay for a box to arrive at my door each month, it had better be good. Exciting new items, stuff people in-the-know love, and samples you can’t get your hands on every day.

So when Yuzen approached me to send a sample box, I will admit to not feeling overly enthusiastic at the prospect of reviewing yet another underwhelming box. Not so fast. Yuzen appears to be totally worth getting excited over.

Yuzen beauty box packaging

Impressive packaging was the first tasty tidbit, but the prize was inside – a selection of products that anyone would be thrilled to try. And since I receive a multitude of items on a weekly basis, this is saying something.

Actually, two products from my wishlist were in that box; Acure Radical Resurfacing and Lotus Wei Flower Essence. Reviews on those to come. Added bonus: the box also contained a candle and chocolate. Yep, chocolate. Love!

Not least importantly, all of the samples were natural and free from toxic ingredients. So far, I feel like I can trust Yuzen to deliver on safe, healthy samples.

Conclusion: If you are in the market for a subscription beauty box that contains samples you actually want to try ( and who isn’t?), Yuzen is for you. Yuzen ships every 3 months, which is actually more do-able to most of us, I think. It would make the perfect birthday present for your sister or bestie, and Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Why not get one for yourself too?
