You know how a couple months of summer can make your hair look\u2026well\u2026less than gorgeous?\u00a0 Whether yours tends to go limp, frizzy or dry I have a product for you<\/p>\n
Even though I tend to \u201cfix\u201d my hair less often in warmer months, opting instead for the quick and easy up-do, my hair still gets parched by mid-summer.\u00a0 Frizzy, limp and lack-luster all at the same time.\u00a0 Can anyone else relate?<\/p>\n
While perusing the shelves of my local Target store last week I happened upon this little beauty by Shea Moisture \u2013 Curl Enhancing Smoothie<\/a>.\u00a0 Sounded good, a smoothie for your hair?!\u00a0 And it carried that lovely pinaeapply-coconut Shea Moisture scent.\u00a0 Yes I open products in store for a little whiff.<\/p>\n This stuff is super thick and will last a very long time.\u00a0 Just a light smudging with fingertips and you have enough for a whole head of hair.\u00a0 I like to put it in my damp hair, running it through for softness, then giving ends a little scrunch.\u00a0 The result is smoother, better behaved, bouncier, decidedly un-mid-summer-like locks.<\/p>\n The label does say for \u201cThick, Curly Hair\u201d and mine is definitely not thick.\u00a0 If your hair is thick you will probably need to use a little more of the product on application.\u00a0 Like the other Shea Moisture products, this one is free from harmful ingredients<\/a>.<\/p>\n [Image via Target.com<\/a>]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
