If you’re a regular reader around here, you know that we’re not fans of fast fashion<\/a>, but we do love that the fashion industry isn’t all about churning out mountains of clothes that you have to replace season after season. Slow fashion is a trend that’s been catching on since 2007, and it represents a whole different way of designing clothing and looking at your wardrobe.<\/p>\n

Over at our sister site–sustainablog–Talanacia Pea shares a little intro to the slow fashion movement, its roots, and its mission. Here’s an excerpt:<\/p>\n

Designers of this movement ensure the longevity of their garments by purchasing higher quality fabrics, oftentimes handmade, and offering customers timeless pieces to be worn for many years.
