Summer may be more laid back than the other seasons, but one area we cannot slack off on this season is \u2026hair removal.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s right, unless you are down with hairy pits, legs and bikini area this is one job that must be done and done regularly.\u00a0 But what is the best way to go about removing hair?<\/p>\n
There\u2019s the shave method (my preferred), but there are draw backs to this one.\u00a0 The obvious, you can nick yourself.\u00a0 But what about razor burn and those tiny red bumps shaving can leave behind?<\/p>\n
Well, I recently found this awesome little potion on Fig + Sage <\/a>that will take care of that (and other stuff) in a flash.\u00a0 Dr. Shannon\u2019s Organic Skin Balm by Mom & Doc Apothecary <\/a>is made with healthy organic ingredients and comes in a nifty take-anywhere tin.\u00a0 There is something about the term apothecary that just seems so therapeutic.<\/p>\n We recently spent a weekend at an indoor waterpark and, since it is not quite bathing suit season, my bikini area was not (shall we say) completely swim park ready and I ended up with those unsightly bumps\u00a0post-shave.\u00a0 I applied a little of the skin balm at night and by morning\u2026*poof* no more bumps.<\/p>\n Skin Balm <\/a>can be used on everything from eczema to diaper area to sunburn and scars.\u00a0 It\u2019s also a lifesaver for any irritation you may experience from other sorts of hair removal, like waxing.\u00a0 If you are inclined to wax, MOOM <\/a>sugar-based hair removal system is a terrific product.\u00a0 I used it regularly on my brows but can\u2019t bring myself to go below the neck.\u00a0 Any tips or tidbits here would be welcome.<\/p>\n
