"Feelgood

As a sequel to her Ted Talk, “
The Power of Vulnerability,” Brené Brown discusses the importance of listening to shame. Brown says her goal is to help people walk through what people call “the swampland of the soul,” and find power, courage and the freedom to move forward. Referring to Ted as “the failure conference,” Brown uncovers the power that we can find within ourselves if we are brave enough to quiet our fear of failure, and the inner critic that lies behind it. To do this, we must realize that the biggest critic lies within us – and its our own voice that, most often, is speaking the shame we can be free to leave behind.
