One of my Feelgood Resolutions is to buy nothing new<\/a> and to source all of my clothes and accessories second hand. For most of your clothing and accessory items, this challenge is pretty easy. Even the smallest thrift store can have great treasures that are your size and style if you’re willing to dig a little.<\/p>\n

When I first decided to buy nothing new, I didn’t really think about underwear<\/strong>. Realistically, if you wash something in hot water it will sanitize it. The ick factor in buying underwear at a thrift store is purely mental. I have yet to cross over the mental bridge and buy underwear from a thrift store, but nothing new also means making<\/strong>!\u00a0This video tutorial from Threadbanger<\/a> shows how to create really cute underwear out of a shirt.<\/p>\n
