This includes, but is not limited to, pages with images or videos containing:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Strategically covered nudity<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Sheer or see-through clothing<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Lewd or provocative poses<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Close-ups of breasts, buttocks, or crotches<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While we don&#8217;t think the tasteful photo of Miller fit any of these criteria, we rely on Adsense to keep the lights on around here. Fortunately,\u00a0you can still\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.glamour.com\/health-fitness\/blogs\/vitamin-g\/2009\/08\/on-the-cl-the-picture-you-cant\" target=\"_blank\">view the original photo on Glamour&#8217;s\u00a0website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13541 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/lizzie-miller-600x337.jpg\" alt=\"She's the plus-sized model who sparked a movement. Miller is a size 12-14 and heard from agencies that she was too big to be a plus sized model. In the modeling industry, size 8-10 is the &#8220;plus size&#8221; range, which is crazy when you consider that Miller is an average- (or even slightly below-average) sized woman.<\/p>\n<p>After the magazine hit newsstands, the publishers received over 700 emails and comments from women delighted to see an average-sized model on the pages.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_pAkYPlqd_E\" target=\"_blank\">Check out the Today Show segment about Miller<\/a>,<\/p>\n<h3>Is Healthy the New Skinny?<\/h3>\n<p>Thanks to body-positive awareness campaigns and even <a href=\"https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/2011\/11\/05\/skinny\/\">some modeling agencies promoting a healthy body image<\/a>, it appears that the tide may slowly be turning. The outpouring of support for Miller&#8217;s photo definitely speaks to what women want to see on magazine pages.<\/p>\n<p>As long ago as 2006, even women within the industry began to speak out against super skinny models on the catwalk when Madrid Fashion Week <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/femail\/article-405600\/Are-size-zero-models-catwalk.html\" target=\"_blank\">banned all models<\/a> with a BMI of less than 18.<\/p>\n<p>While there are definitely a fair number of skin-and-bones women on runways and in magazines, I think that Miller&#8217;s photo and the buzz it&#8217;s generating are definitely going to impact what designers and agencies consider an &#8220;average&#8221; sized woman. Since the issue of Glamour came out and emails and comments started rolling in, Miller has started getting a lot more offers for work.
