For a lot of us, exercise is the hardest part of staying healthy. What do you do to stay fit and feel good?<\/h3>\n

We talked a bit last week about healthy weight loss<\/a> and mentioned that staying active is an integral part of staying fit. To get the ball rolling, I came up with a few of my favorite ways to get moving. Chime in with yours in the comments!<\/p>\n

Yoga<\/h3>\n

We love yoga<\/a> around here. What better way to stay fit while exploring that mind-body-spirit connection? Whether you sign up for a beginner class, pick up a yoga DVD<\/a>, or practice in your living room, yoga is a great way to tone your body and calm your mind.<\/p>\n

Walking and Running<\/h3>\n

You don’t have to join a fancy gym to stay fit. Instead, just grab your running shoes and head outside for a head-clearing cardio workout. If you have a hard time getting motivated for that morning walk or run, it helps to have a buddy. It’s much harder to blow off your workout if someone is waiting for you to meet up.<\/p>\n

Hiking<\/h3>\n

There’s nothing like getting out into nature to help you get active and feel good. If you’re lucky enough to have trails nearby, you might be able to squeeze in hikes in the morning before work. If it’s more of a trek to get to the trail head, you might consider adding a longer weekend hike to your routine. You can make it extra fun by packing a healthy picnic lunch and inviting some friends to come along!<\/p>\n

Cycling<\/h3>\n

Cycling is a great way to work exercise into your daily routine. Not only that, cycling can be chic<\/a>! You can schedule bike rides for fun or fitness or try running some of your short distance errands on your bike instead of in a car. Your body and the planet will thank you!<\/p>\n
