We made it! Christmas is past, and now’s the time to regroup and recover. Did you have some clothing and accessories in your stocking this year that you’re not going to wear? Rather than brave the stores to return unwanted gifts, you can throw a naked lady party and trade up while you unwind with your best girlfriends!<\/p>\n
Have you ever been to a naked lady party? They’re so much fun! There are a few different ways you can go about it, but here are the key components.<\/p>\n
Get your favorite friends together and have then bring clothing and accessories from their closet that they’re not wearing anymore. It doesn’t matter if it’s too small, out of fashion, torn, or stained. You never know what someone else is going to dig! What you see as an imperfection might be an easy mending project for one of your guests.<\/p>\n
Guests take turns showing off their cast-offs. This can be quick, if you prefer to get right to the swapping and trying on, but it can be a lot of fun to have your friend share the story of how she acquired those high-waisted, pleated, acid washed jeans!<\/p>\n
As each piece is introduced, other guests get a chance to call dibs. Hopefully, by the time everyone’s presented their giveaways, everyone will have a pile of items to try on. This is where the naked lady party gets its name. There’s no modesty at a naked lady party. We’re all friends here. Try on your finds, model them if you like, and decide what you’re going to keep.<\/p>\n
By the end, you’ll probably have a pile of rejects that either didn’t fit or were a bit too campy for anyone to claim. No sweat! Gather the remaining items and drop them at the Goodwill, Salvation Army, or your favorite clothing donation spot. <\/p>\n
