\"\"<\/a>Although I’ve been an admirer of designer Deborah Lindquist<\/a> since she launched her first eco-conscious clothing collection in 2004, I shied from writing since so many others were on it. She’s deservedly featured on most every eco fashion blog every season. And oh boy, the creation of her Green Bride<\/em> collection was the ultimate for eco brides to be.<\/p>\n

While many green designers were looking for an organic cotton with stretch, Deborah was on to a mix of reincarnated fabrics. Examples were recycled cashmere, restructured kimonos, and vintage silk scarves. One thing led to another and Deborah got an innovative itch for unique materials in the upcycle<\/a> market.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Deborah is such a trailblazer! She teamed up with Alyce Santoro<\/em><\/strong>, who invented sonic fabric. Today she offers sonic neckties and fedora hats. Alyce offers a number of videos, \u2012 from how sonic fabric was created (below), to making a sonic fabric reader<\/a>.<\/p>\n
