It\u2019s a profoundly regional company, using local suppliers to create its products.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Nomino\u00eb himself was a man who helped to create the historical Duchy of Brittany and by using his name for the company, the founder, Jeremias Martins is linking his cosmetics to a long background of powerful historical figures with a local focus.\u00a0 The brand claims that it is possible to produce top quality, simple, organic products using botanical ingredients that haven\u2019t been imported from the other side of the world, so that the supply chain is short and doesn\u2019t damage the environment.<\/p>\n<h3>Active Botanic Formulations<\/h3>\n<p>This means that Nomino\u00eb\u2019s products include unusual formulations such as gorse, artichoke, rock samphire and buckwheat extracts as well as the more familiar items such as bees-wax and sesame oil to make the line\u2019s shower gel, exfoliating body scrub, body oil, and a gentle foam cleanser. The formulations are certified by<a href=\"http:\/\/eatdrinkbetter.com\/2008\/06\/19\/how-buying-eco-friendly-coffee-makes-a-difference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Ecocert<\/a>, and free from <a href=\"http:\/\/jenniferlance.greenoptions.com\/2007\/05\/24\/green-myth-busting-natural-beauty-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">parabens<\/a> and aluminium as well as containing only contain natural preservatives.
