With the success of the Twilight series, it doesn&#8217;t get much sexier than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vampbags.com\">Vamp Bags<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I met the Vamp girls, Deanna and Tara, in Boulder, CO (home town of <a href=\"https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/2008\/06\/10\/the-eco-message-is-in-the-bag-part-i\/comment-page-1\/\">English Retreads<\/a>) this fall and got to take a sneak peek at their upcoming 2009 collection (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vampbags.com\/nue2_.html\">Frenchie<\/a> below in red) as well as bags from the signature line that are still fan favorites.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/go635254.s3.amazonaws.com\/feelgoodstyle\/files\/2008\/12\/vamp-bags.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1767\" src=\"https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/vamp-bags1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/vamp-bags1.jpg 608w, https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/vamp-bags1-300x131.jpg 300w, https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/vamp-bags1-600x262.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What impressed me the most about this shop is their eco-mission and how they are continually striving to improve it. While they have some exciting announcements they are working for in 2009 that we can&#8217;t discuss, I can share what they are doing now.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The exterior fabrics used on the bags meet European Green Emissions Standards<\/li>\n<li>The interior fabric is a 100% animal friendly synthetic<\/li>\n<li>The padding used for the inside pockets of the messenger bags and the sides of the laptop portfolio are made from post consumer product and 100% recyclable<\/li>\n<li>All packaging that the bags are shipped in are 100% biocompostable, and the shipping boxes are 40 -80% post-consumer product and 100% recyclable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They are well on their way to reaching their goals of being able to use 100% post consumer materials that are also 100% recyclable, but in the meantime, their stylish bags are a great alternative for vegan and eco-conscious fashionistas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looking for something fun, sexy and sophisticated to tote around in the New Year?
