Give. Aid. Contribute. You see these words associated with inequality and creating change all the time. But what is the most effective way of implementing solutions and how do we go about it?<\/p>\n<p>Feelgood Style&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/feelgoodstyle.com\/?s=shanley+knox\">Shanley Knox<\/a> gave a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BG3RZhBAS5M\" target=\"_blank\">TED Talk<\/a> on the subject. These women would create the products, jewelry, and Shanley would market and sell them. The project proved less an \u201cimpact crater\u201d that provided immediate and enormous change, but a catalyst for instilling teachable steps toward bigger, lasting impact.<\/p>\n<p>Most of us expect or feel we should create huge craters of change. Then get discouraged, give up or never even take on the challenge. Last week Marie Forleo interviewed Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, authors of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0385349912\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0385349912&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=impormedia-20&amp;linkId=HULOLF4JXMCNQZRT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity<\/a>. The book tells us how we can all create lasting change for inequality around the world and how to do that.<\/p>\n<p>Like most good things in life, sustainable change is created by taking the necessary steps and doing them the right way, even if that takes a little longer.
