It\u2019s April. That means only a couple of months (max!) until bathing suit weather. Do you workout, eat right, and still gasp at the thought of throwing on a bikini?<\/p>\n

It may be what you are eating.<\/p>\n

Many foods cause swelling. Check the list below for some foods to help banish the bloat.<\/p>\n

Papaya and pineapple<\/strong> both contain enzymes that help to break down protein and ease indigestion. Mix with yogurt for breakfast or throw some in a fruit salad for lunch.<\/p>\n

Asparagus and yogurt<\/strong> both contain probiotics which help to keep tummy gas free. While not good together, try to incorporate some of both into your diet regularly this summer.<\/p>\n

Cucumbers and watermelon<\/strong> are both high in water. Other than all important hydration, water also keeps digestion flowing smoothly, prevents constipation, and expels toxins from the body.<\/p>\n

Oatmeal<\/strong> is high in fiber, which helps keep the system regular, cutting back on bloat in the process.<\/p>\n

Of course, plenty of water<\/strong> is also essential in keeping your body healthy and skin looking great. Try to slip in some green tea<\/strong> <\/a>too. It detoxes the system and fights free radicals. Not a green tea lover? Try it iced with a splash of almond milk.<\/p>\n
