<\/a><\/p>\n 1. An old wreath to redo. I found two old (and kind of hideous) wreaths at the thrift store.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n 2. Sheet music or other recycled paper<\/p>\n 3. Tape<\/p>\n 4. Scissors<\/p>\n 5. Two buttons<\/p>\n 6. Hot glue\/hot glue gun<\/p>\n 7. A ruler<\/p>\n 8. A permanent marker<\/p>\n 9. Twine. If you can, use hemp twine<\/a>.<\/p>\n 1. Remove all of the lovely<\/em> items on your old wreath. Mine had a lot of glue left on the front, so I simply flipped the wreath over to the back. It was the perfect base for my new wreath.<\/p>\n 2. Make the paper flowers by following the instructions on this\u00a0Recycled Paper Mother’s Day Brooch tutorial<\/a>— just don’t add a brooch pin to the back of the flower.<\/p>\n 3. Then, hot glue the flowers to your wreath.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n 4. To create the mini pennant banner, cut a piece of twine the length of your wreath.<\/p>\n 5. Use your ruler and draw 4 triangles that will fit across the twine. The triangles should look something like this:<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n (Make sure you leave an extra piece at the top to attach it to the twine.)<\/em><\/p>\n 6. With a permanent marker, write each letter of “fall” on the triangles.<\/p>\n 7. Using your hot glue gun, attach the triangles to the twine but gluing them like so:<\/p>\nIt might be a little early, but I’m ready to decorate for fall. To officially kick off this particular season of crafting, I created a beautiful eco-friendly wreath!<\/h3>\n
