Unlike most oils, coconut oil is actually\u00a0good<\/em> for you. You can ingest it as well as using it on your body and your hair! When ingested, it helps aid in digestion, balance out our blood sugar levels, reduce cholesterol, as well as tons of other fun stuff.

I converted to cooking with\u00a0 <\/i>only coconut oil<\/a> almost two years ago and haven’t looked back! Once I realized evoo turns into a carcinogen when heated above 80 deg, I knew I had to make a change.<\/p>\n

Not only is it amazing for your insides, but it is great for the outside too! For instance, once a week I use a warm coconut oil treatment in my hair. Since coconut oil is a solid at room temperature, you need to run it under hot water to melt it ( I am pretty sure it melts at about 78 degrees). I leave it in over night and, voila! super silky nourished hair. Here are some other uses:<\/p>\n
