The GreenShows :: NY Fashion Week

NY Fashion Week is almost upon us and with it, green shows are now a permanent fixture on the calendar rather than a quaint anomaly. Designers such as John Patrick, Christian Siriano, Rodarte and too many more to mention here are consistently producing mindful collections that embrace eco-textiles.

During this week however, The GreenShows specifically is the premiere fashion event exclusively committed to eco-friendly, ethically sound, fair-trade fashion during New York Fashion Week. Showcasing ten designers who demonstrate that high fashion doesn’t have to be at the expense of the environment, if you’re there, make this event a must-see and get your fix of Bright Young Things, Susan Cianciolo, and others who are quietly and sustainably impacting the future of fashion.

What: The GreenShows; Where: The Metropolitan Pavilion; When: September 12th – 14th. Click here for a calendar of events.
