The Dirt on Dry Cleaning

Green Diva Mary Max shows off her Green Garmento

Listen, laugh & learn with the Green Divas (and Green Dude Scott) anytime – Podcast here!

Was fun having a full crew in the studio this week. Our Green Diva Correspondent, Maggie Miller called in from McDonough, Georgia and talked to us about non-VOC paints for walls and furniture. GD Lisa did a new Take Two re-purposing segment with a few more ideas for using reclaimed items for a stylish eco-home.

Our feature interview was a great conversation with Bart Potenza, veteran vegan chef and founder of Candle 79 and Candle Cafe in New York city. Bart has done a lot to create greater awareness about the virtues of being vegetarian and vegan and has done a lot to support Farm Sanctuaries around the country. His new line of yummy vegan frozen meals are available at Whole Foods, and will donate a portion of proceeds to the Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, New York.

The Sleeping Naked is Green segment focused on the creating a more earth-friendly closet by recycling wire hangers and learning about what is REALLY green and NOT green about dry cleaning. Hear just the fun 5-min segment by clicking here.

As always, please visit our website for LOTS of relevant links & resources from the show – Green Divas website.

Hope you’ll listen to this broadcast!
