Stella McCartney Wins :: Green Designer Of The Year!

With a portfolio of brands that encompasses everything from animal friendly eco-accessories to organic skincare, Stella McCartney has lived and breathed a verdant life for years. Hell bent on debunking the myths and assumptions surrounding organic & natural, Stella has made sure her cool, modern & sexy aesthetic leaves no-one in doubt that not only are we entering a new era of consciousness, but it’s one that is firmly rooted in design that fuses killer aesthetic & performance with sound process. Only fitting then that she should be awarded a fashion biz first that recognizes her contributions, with an award for “Best Green Designer” by the ACE (Accessories Council Excellence). True to form, she’d only accept the award if it was ‘green’, so the ACE promptly upcycled and repurposed the Judith Leiber original that was created for the award ceremony. Now that’s what we call walking the talk… GO STELLA! Writer :: Emma Pezzack – : the best organic beauty products in the world.
