Natural Remedies: Treating a Sunburn

Soothe Your Sunburn with Lavender Vinegar

lavender It may not smell great, but vinegar actually can help repair your damaged skin. Try this lavender-infused vinegar recipe. The herbs help mask the smell a bit, and lavender is soothing to the skin, so it should provide a boost of pain relief.

Spritz your vinegar mixture onto burned skin, and let it dry, then wash it off with a cool, damp cloth or in the shower after about 15-20 minutes. You can store your spritz bottle of vinegar in the fridge for extra cooling relief. Since this is a totally food-based recipe, you can also use some on your skin and some on your next salad! Yum!
