Love Your Skin

As we continue on our quest for the purest skin care products, Skin has to be at the top of the list.  Founder Stephanie Simkins, nutrition consultant and herbalist, has combined holistic healing with pure organic oils and botanicals to create products that nourish the skin, as well as the body and mind.  All chemical and additive free.

Simkins pays close attention to the benefits of each ingredient and targets certain oils for specific skin care needs.  In her Apricot Mango Eye Cream you reap the benefits of apricot oil to smooth and regenerate delicate skin and mango butter to heal skin and reduce wrinkles.  The Daily Greens Hydrating Repair Cream contains vitamin and mineral packed blue green algae for maximum hydration and green tea extract, a powerful antioxidant.

One of my favorites from the Skin line is the Seaberry Restorative Face Cream.  Perfect for parched winterized skin, it moves perfectly into spring as a restorative night cream.  It is chock full of Sea Buckthorn Oil (thus the orange hue) which is light but highly moisturizing, and also provides a nice glow.

My other fav?  Lemon Lips!  Hands down the best lip balm/gloss I have ever used.  Packed in a jar like a balm, this thick concoction goes on more like a gloss and lasts a super long time.  The light lemony scent is fresh and the added honey makes it sweet and yummy.  Honey is also an effective yet gentle skin repair ingredient, perfect for lips.  Once you try this stuff you will never go back.

The entire Skin line is available at Carenonline.com and contains products for all skin types, including anti-aging products and those for body.
