Hotels tend to redecorate long before their furniture is worn out…so what happens to all of that old hotel furniture? It turns out you can buy it from resellers at a deep discount!
I know, hotel decor can be a little…well terrible. But! Individual pieces of used hotel furniture – a chair here, an end table there – can actually add a little quirk and color to your decor. The best part? Just like hitting the thrift store for clothes shopping, when you buy your furniture second hand you’re opting out of the cycle of big box store waste that’s overflowing our landfills!
I’ve bought quite a few used hotel pieces for my craft and writing studio here in Atlanta, and my favorite scores are the wooden rolling desk chair and the yellow easy chair with ottoman pictured above. In fact, I’m sitting in that yellow chair right at this moment.
You might not want to decorate a whole room with hotel furniture, but these liquidators are definitely worth checking out – you may be surprised at what you find!
