Extreme Braids :: Beauty By Design.

One of the reasons why I love fashion and beauty is that it provides not just a platform for self-expression and creativity, it also allows me to escape into a world of wonder, possibility and imagination that is always a welcome respite from the mundane. I live, breathe and act in the world of beauty every day and during that time frame all kinds of imagery crosses my path, but I get particularly enthralled when I see extraordinary lengths to create something that is abnormal, larger than life and brilliantly clever! These hairstyles were created by the professional Hair Acadamy – Studio Marisol using plaited hair from Spanish designers CuldeSac, to promote their Boisbuchet Workshop titled CRAZY HAIR in conjunction with Vitra Design Museum. The summer academy runs from July to mid-September and courses are led by renowned designers, architects and artists. It’s times like this I’d love to just pack up and go!
