Eve Organics: Mineral Make Up and Organic Skin Care

Eve Organics Mineral Make UpA couple weeks ago I was curious about what kind of green businesses are in Michigan so I started searching the web. I hit www.dinegreen.comto find green restaurants and www.greenhotels.com to search for… well, green hotels but I really wanted to findĀ average everyday green businesses so finally I hit Green America’s (formerly Co-Op America’s) National Green Pages online. To my surprise I found a totally amazing organic skin care and mineral cosmetic company, right here in Michigan- Eve Organics.

So far I am loving their mineral foundation. I’ve tried mineral powders before without much luck. I never really received the promised results…now I know why. It really defeats the purpose to use a mineral powder over regular liquid foundation.

At first I wasn’t sure how to use it, but after checking out Eve’s great online tutorial I had no problems. There’s even a tutorial about mixing your mineral powder to make liquid makeup if the powder just isn’t your thing.

I used the mineral foundation on Valentine’ s Day and I glowed…literally glowed. My skin looked amazing. I felt like a beautiful Goddess. I was really amazed at how wonderful my skin looked. It was like all imperfections had been airbrushed away. I am truly a believer in mineral make up now and I am ready to try some more.

On most days I am a matte finish type of gal though so I think I need to get the Invisible setting powder to go over the foundation because on normal days I don’t need to glow. On Valentine’s Day it was perfect and worked oh so great with my red lipstick.

I am still amazed that with a few flicks of a brush and all blemishes and imperfections literally just disappeared and without the gunky build up you get from liquid foundation or concealer.

I am so glad I went hunting for green businesses in Michigan because I found a treasure close to home in Eve Organics.
