Dr. Natura Colonix Cleanse, Getting Started

The Dr. Natura Colonix Program

The program consists of a powder which you drink in a glass of water and herbal supplement capsules, which you also take with a glass of water. Both of these are consumed first thing upon waking in the morning. I was a little concerned about this as I usually have to eat something before taking anything (even a vitamin), but it does not make me feel sick even on an empty stomach. I will say that the powder is not yummy. The taste is not bad at all, but the consistency (clumpy and kind of thick) is not pleasant to drink. It may be better in OJ or blended up in a smoothie, but at one glass per day I have just been bucking up and slugging it down.

Water is key in this cleanse, and the folks at Dr. Natura advise you drink eight  8oz glasses per day, and this is aside from milk, tea or anything else you may drink. Speaking of tea, Colonix includes Kleritea, an herbal tea blend which you drink one cup of every night before going to bed. The tea tastes great and reminds me of Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Tea.
