3rd Rock from the Sun’s Kristen Johnson Warns About the Dangers of Horse-Drawn Carriages

In a scandalous PETA ad that has her draped naked over a horse, Kristen Johnson denounces horse-drawn carriages as cruel.

The former 3rd Rock from the Sun star released the ad, which reads “Don’t Get Taken for a Ride, Horse-Drawn Carriages are Cruel, last week. The ad features Johnson naked on a horse.

Horses in horse-drawn carriages often have to work long hours in brutal conditions and have a life-expectancy of just 4 years, as compared to horses in the police force that can live closer to 14 years. The horses can also have problems with their respiratory system from breathing so close to the tailpipes of cars and can suffer from lameness and poor housing conditions.

Kristen Johnson releasing her ad, urged tourists to “Oh my god, just take a walk.”

The ad was released this past Thursday on New York City taxis and buses.
