The Eco-Friendly Easter Basket

1. The Basket

Shelves are lined with baskets in every color of the rainbow.  These baskets are also, typically, made in China and out of wasteful materials. Peruse any number of thrift stores and you can easily find a cute and simple wicker basket to fill with goodies. You’re more than likely going to be able to find the exact same basket you see in stores now at your local thrift store. Instead of buying them new, buying used and recycling is always better. You can also think outside of the basket and use any sort of open container to fill. Plant pots, sand pails, and even thrifted bowls are just as nice to use.
