Green Your Summer Routine: Less Dryer, More Clothesline

Feelgood Quickie

This is a great time of year to switch up the routine. Why not make it a little greener? In summer weeks ahead I will throw out some quickies on greening your summer routine. Feel free to share along the way.

There are many little changes we can make during summer that add up to pretty significant greening. One of those is saving some electricity (and the other green;) ) by using the dryer less often.

Infuse some freshness into your laundry and get a little more eco by hanging your duds out to dry. Some items (like delicates) still need to be dried by machine, but beach towels, swim suits, everday tanks and cut-offs are perfect for line drying. Have you ever slept on fresh-from-the-line sheets? Mmmmmm…

No clothesline? String up a temporary line for summer, or throw your stuff over the fence or balcony railing. It’s all good.

How do you green your summer routine?
