Pass the Sunscreen

Feelgood Quickie

Spring is here and that means we need to dig out our shorts, flip flops and…SUNSCREEN!  One skin issue I am faced with is sun spots – those brown spots on skin (namely face, chest and arms) that come from sun exposure.  Of course, the best way to avoid sun spots is by wearing a good mineral sunscreen.  But let’s face it, some of us are better at that than others and end up with some spots.

Check out my article on fading sun spots from last week.  And don’t forget to stock up on mineral sunscreen.  Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide provide better sun protection from both UVA and UVB rays and are safer than chemical sunscreens.  Unsure which one to choose?  My vote is with True Natural’s line.  Their sunscreends are non-nano, go on clear and offer superior protection.  They have even come out with a new super gentle sunscreen for babies and children that I am trying out.  Will let you know what I think…
