The Naked Face Project: Could you go 60 days without beauty products?

Feelgood Quickienaked face project

Would you be able to go a day, a week, a month without makeup? Do you feel like it would take you out of your comfort zone?

The Naked Face Project was launched by two women who have decided not to wear makeup, style their hair, shave, or basically primp for 60 days. Both women, Molly Barker and Caitlin Boyle, work in the fields of empowering women by focusing on inner beauty and self confidence. One day they realized that the daily practice of beauty habits was a contrast to what they were speaking about-that true beauty comes only from within.

Inner beauty is a large focus of Feelgood Style and I think The Naked Face Project only helps to further draw attention to what we, as women, have to offer from the inside. You can follow each of the women on their inspiring 60 day journey and even join in yourself! Their website also contains a gallery of women who have joined in by taking the no primping challenge. I’ve decided that I’m going to take on this challenge for one week, starting today. No makeup, no hairstyling, and no primping whatsoever! I would love it if you would join me and tell me what the experience has made you feel, realize, and discover about yourself. I’ll check back in next week to give you my thoughts and reflections on a week of no primping!

Do you think you could go without any primping? Will you be taking the challenge as well-if only for a day? I would love to get your thoughts and feelings on The Naked Face Project, so feel free to leave any comments or questions. If you decide to take the challenge, join in on the discussion here!
