Wai-Ching Avant Garde Wedding Gowns

On Saturday, the most influential woman in my life is getting married. The love that radiates between her and her hubby-to-be is intoxicating- inspiring me to treat not only my boyfriend, but everyone in my life with as much respect and adoration as she does.

With her wedding on my mind, I find my thoughts wandering to my current dream wedding dress from Seattle based designer, Wai-Ching.

Being a non-traditional girl, I am quite attracted to the extravagant, colorful statement piece that Wai-Ching designed for her own wedding, The Zolotova Dress (pictured above.) The Zolotova uses scraps from all her other designs while the client is able to play with the color options. More traditional dresses are available as well, even a few bridesmaid dresses.

Each dress is custom made (don’t be afraid to add straps, change colors and fool around with length) from hemp and peace silk ranging from 500 to 2000 dollars. With style like no other, Wai-Ching excels in creating unique eco-wedding gowns for any budget.
