Cute Designs from Alabama Chanin :: A Sweet Mixture of New, Organic and Recycled Materials

Alabama Chanin creates an “array of limited-edition products for the individual and home. Using a mixture of new, organic and recycled materials our products are constructed with care by artisans who live and work in our local communities. All of the Alabama Chanin products lines are made-by-hand in the USA.”

A.C. has jewelry, interiors fabrics, t-shirts, home collections, a special organic series and more.

Natalie Chanin is the owner and designer. She came home to work in Florence, Alabama after living and working abroad as a costume designer for over twenty years.

Actually, initially she returned home to film the short documentary “Stitch” & to begin her work in Alabama.

“Natalie has a degree in Environmental Design from North Carolina State University and works as designer, manufacturer, consultant, stylist, filmmaker, mother, artisan, cook and collector of stories from her home in Florence.”

Alabama Chanin offices, design studio, manufacturing facilities & Studio Store (Open Wednesday thru Friday, 2-5 pm) are located in the town of Florence, Alabama.
