DIY Hair Tips for Cold Weather

Skin is not the only thing to become dry once colder weather arrives. Hair changes too.

One of my favorite ways to boost hydration and add body is with Avocado oil. Massage into scalp and work through ends of hair, then wrap in a warm towel or don a shower cap for 15 minutes. Shampoo as usual. Or try this avocado hair mask.

Another oil that works well here is olive oil. Actually, olive oil is a winter wonder for skin too. Use it as a hair conditioner, skin cleanser, body moisturizer, and cuticle treatment.
