Recycle Your Running Shoes

We were surprised just how much can be done with recycled sneakers! Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe program has collected over 24 MILLION

sneakers for use in their Nike Grind project that repurposes most of the materials to make all kinds of ball courts, playgrounds and tracks!

Also found a great non-profit called Sole4Souls that helps gather donated shoes and get them to people who need them all over the world – over 17 mill

ion have been given out so far!

Listen this Sleeping Naked is Green 5-minute segment for a lot more details on our visit our post for this week’s show.
