Winter is not yet here (thank goodness), but my skin didn’t get the memo.
It doesn’t take much of a dip in temp for those of us bordering on dry skin to notice the difference. When my skin tone became uneven and irritated in patches I immediately set out to figure what was causing it. The new shampoo? No. The face oil I use often? No. How about the cleanser? Nope.
It was more a case of what I wasn’t using that was causing the irritation. And that’s a heavier, thicker moisturizer. Sometimes we don’t think fall is cold or dry enough to whip out our big guns moisturizers. But if you’ve noticed that your skin is drier, taut, sallow, or red you may need to lube up.
