3. Color
To top off your newly refreshed pucker, try some gorgeous homemade color. Torah Women gives us a recipe for a red lipstick using beets. You can easily add more or less of the beet juice to create your perfect shade of red. Try experimenting with other natural ingredients like rose petals. Grind red or pink roses until liquid begins to come out of them. Then apply the liquid to your lips like a stain. There are also natural flavoring oils you can add to your lipstick if you like. Southern Soapers has an interesting selection of flavors like maple!
Making your lips even more kissable is easy with homemade recipes and natural ingredients. What kind of products do you like to make or use on your lips to keep them soft and supple? Do you have any recipes that you use or follow? I would love to see some links and hear some of your ideas.

I have to admit, I basically just use lip balm right now, but exfoliating sounds like a great idea! I’m going to try your tooth brush idea. My lips get super dry in winter, and I’m pretty sick of it.
I love using my toothbrush, it’s the easiest thing to add to your routine.
What a perfect blog post to get us ready for kissable lips before Valentines Day. I had also read a study two weeks ago that many married people are now kissing less and should take a moment to “make out” like you did when you were dating. Now with better lips, I am going to try that out!
Thanks for the comment! I’m glad that you’re going to try out the tips, and I am all for lots of kissing!
