Tips to Avoid Yurt Interior Mold
- No carpeting, yet area rugs are an option.
- Avoid grouted tile where there is any lack of good air flow.
- Omit closet doors when possible; use an alternative such as beads or curtains.
It also helps to wash the yurt at least once a year. Just remember that bleach does not eliminate mold (yet sunshine does), and that bleach is not recommended for yurt washing anyway.
