Eco-Stocking Stuffer Alert: The Joy of Soap

The holidays are creeping up faster than any of us would probably like. Before Halloween is even over the stores are already putting up winter holiday displays. As always I try to start early though I hardly ever do. Time just flies by so fast.

But I have been keeping an eye out for great eco-friendly products that are reasonably priced (like $25 and under) that would make great gifts and stocking stuffers.

I’ll be posting my eco-stocking stuffer alerts around the web, specifically on a few Green Options sites so keep an eye out for cool eco-products that won’t bust your budget or break the bank.

Today I am starting with The Joy of Soap.

The Joy of Soap creates “natural handmade soap from scratch using the finest-quality ingredients resulting in a luxurious and soothing soap that is gentle on your skin.”

All of their vegetable based recipes begin with certified organic oils, sustainable and therapeutic grade essential oils, and organic or sustainably wild crafted botanicals.

The result is a “wonderfully moisturizing and creamy bar of soap with soft, fluffy bubbles that leave your skin clean and smooth. Essential oils and exfoliants are used for both aromatherapy and skin healthy benefits.”

These fabulous soaps have fun names like Feeling Frisky, Ginger Snap, Lay Me Down Lavendar and Manly Man. 2 ounce bars are only $3.50 and full size 5 ounce bath bars are $7.50.

A great price that will fit your budget while being “green” and soaps are the perfect size to actually fit into a stocking.

I love the wake me up zing from the Ginger Snap, a perfect way to start my day with a fun wake up right in the shower.
