An Eco-Dominated Photo Shoot (Plus Organic Make-Up Discount Code)

She-Bible and Organic Makeup Photo Shoot[social_buttons]Shown above is, ah yes, one of my personal favorite She-Bible garments, The Faithfull Pantsuit. Fashion photographer, April Wiser, was so won over with the suit she asked me to wear it for our recent photo shoot. Wanting my make-up to be as interesting as my intense feather lashes I asked Terri Bly, owner and founder of The Nature of Beauty, to glam me up with natural make-up. Suddenly, the photo shoot had an eco-flair, so I thought I’d share it with all you! Not to mention, a really sweet discount on the make-up I’m sporting…
Organic Makeup Close UpFrom now, until the end of August, any product from my “look” is 15% off at The Nature of Beauty! Just enter EMILY15 at checkout on any of the following:

Let’s start with my face!
Couleur Caramel Foundation Stick ($39.99)- I don’t usually wear foundation. My face is naturally really greasy and I hate the feeling of adding a layer of film to my already filmy face. But this foundation is super silky and I didn’t feel or look greasy throughout the whole shoot! It also gave super great coverage and evened out my skin flawlessly.
Couleur Caramel Finishing Powder($25.00)- The perfect powder to set my make up! Light and in loose form, for my skin, it’s my favorite powder, hands down.
RMS Lip2Cheek Muse ($36.00)- First of all, if you haven’t tried RMS, try it, immediately. Best cosmetic, natural or other, that I have ever used. It excels in silky colors for eyes, cheeks and lips and is in a class all of it’s own. For my shoot, we used the Lip2Cheek in Muse to get a matted fleshy cheek.

Look at those lips!
Couleur Caramel Lip Pencil in Beige ($13.49)- Couleur Caramel never fails me. Designed for make-up artists, with rich pigment and highly glamorous colors, the make-up stays on just as long as chemically packed cosmetics. Whoever says that isn’t possible is lying to you. Either that, or they haven’t met Couleur Caramel, natural make-up extraordinaire.
Couleur Caramel Lipstick in Pearly Light Pink ($19.49)- When I said Couleur Caramel stays (not constantly having to reapply it) I meant it. Between getting my lipstick applied and my photo shoot, I drank coffee, ate, talked on the phone, walked through the rain, changed clothing, had another photo shoot prior to these photos and never once had to reapply my lipstick. Cool, right?

About those eyes, I don’t suggest wearing the following eye shadows, glosses and liners together daily, unless of course, you want to. I can’t say much for each individual shadow or liner we applied, they all blended so well it was hard for me to tell each one apart. But, just like my lips and face, my eye make-up didn’t move a bit, smudge or need to be fixed. And by golly, it definitely is possible to achieve photo shoot/runway worthy “looks” from natural make-up. I laugh in the face of someone who says differently.
Jane Iredale Eye Gloss in Peach Silk ($15.00)
Jane Iredale Blue Moon Eye Shadow ($17.50)
Couleur Caramel Eye Shadow in Pearly Bluish Green ($13.99)
Couleur Caramel Eye Shadow in Pearly White ($13.99)
Jane Iredale Cream to Powder Eyeliner ($26.00)
RMS Living Luminizer ($38.00)- My current favorite pick from The Nature of Beauty. I wear it daily on top of my cheek bones, under my eyebrows and a dot in the inner corner of each eye. It’s drop dead gorgeous. Dear RMS, I love you.

Don’t forget to check out She-Bible. My romance with She-Bible continues to blossom as it daily woos my heart and lights my fashion fire. Keep an eye out for their fall/winter line. I’ve seen it, and my jaw is still touching the floor.
