Big End of Summer Sale at Eco Citizen

There is an end of summer sale happening over at Eco Citizen.

Eco Citizen was born from the simple desire to help people and contribute to the well-being of the world. “It feels good to know that the items I sell are not only well designed but also fair trade, organic and sustainable- to know this gives me a purpose.” Joslin Van Arsdale

Pictured here are a few sale items that may work for fall:

Going clockwise from top image:

  1. This Safari inspired Jacket is made from 100% organic cotton, with seamed finishing and pleated back. “From out back to out on the town, this jacket is a must have transitional basic.” Fairly made in NYC.
  2. The North Carolina Top, is a country inspired plaid top by design duo Turk+ Taylor is made in San Francisco and “fits like a glove.” It seems to have a hypnotizing effect as an image on it is own but perhaps under a fitted jacket it will look like a tie or ribbon accent. 100% organic cotton.
  3. The white lightweight duster is called the Tinc Hankerchief Linen Robe ~ “Wear as a summer coat or casual robe in and out of the house. Perfect finishing gives this piece a timeless touch of summer breezes and carless days.” Made from 100% organic cotton linen, in San Francisco.
  4. Finally this little number has the tag: “William Good — get it? The ultimate, one of a kind, eco-friendly fashion that will keep the planet and its citizens smiling. In collaboration with Goodwill, Nick Graham (Joe Boxer) and his team of designers re-make, re-design, re-cycle and re-vive second hand clothing destined for recycling or salvage.” William Good which we featured a while ago here on Feelgood Style, has a couple remaining things like this on sale at Eco Citizen. They are the final re-made vintage items from their pilot program. While they are almost gone now, more looks will be available with retail stores appearing in Fall of 2009.

The Eco Citizen about page reads:

“Eco Citizen strives to offer high quality, fair trade, classic fashion design and construction to the eco-conscious consumer.
